1. Sambhar Lake

Sambhar lake/Sambhar Jhil is India’s largest saline salt lake. It is located in Sambhar town around 2 and half hours away from Jaipur.

There are several different sites where you can enjoy the raw nature. You can also see mesmerising sunrises and sunsets from Sambhar lake.

Interesting fact, Akbar wedded Amer’s princess Jodha Bai at Sambhar Lake in 1562.

2. Bhangarh Fort

Bhangarh fort was built in the 17th century by Raja Madho Singh. It is located amidst the Aravalli Mountain range on the border of Sariska Tiger Reserve National Park.

3. Chand Bawri

Chand Bawri is a beautiful, 64 feet deep step well located in Abhaneri village of the Dausa district. It was built in the 9th century by King Chanda to preserve water. Chand bawri has 3500 steps arranged in a great symmetry. It is one of the largest step-wells in the world.

Some scenes of the movie “Dark Knight Rises” were also shot here.

Another beautiful place in Kishangarh is the iconic Kishangarh fort & Phool Mahal Palace. Both places are amazingly gorgeous and flaunt Mughal and Rajput architecture. The fort is now a private hotel not a tourist destination. So access is only possible if you stay in the hotel.

8. Sariska National Park, Alwar
