Udaipur is one of my favourite places to visit in Rajasthan. The charming city has everything to win anybodyโs heart. I visited Udaipur last year and had a great time.
This time, I thought of visiting nearby places in Udaipur. So, I googled Udaipur tourist places near me (Udaipur ke aas paas ghumne ki jagah).
I found travel articles mentioning places 300-400 km from Udaipur and wondered how they could be considered near, since 300 km isn’t close.
If I faced that issue, I am sure others are facing it too.
So, I am sharing a list of the ‘top places to visit near Udaipur’ (These places are genuinely near Udaipur).
1. Eklingji Temple
Ekling Ji Temple is a great place to visit near Udaipur within 50 km distance. It is located between two hills known as Kailashpuri.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Eklingji). There is a four faced idol of Shiva each depicting four different forms of Shiva.

The craving on the walls and pillars of the temple are excellent examples of Hindu architecture.

6. Nathdwara

Nathdwara is prominently known for Shrinathji Temple which was built in the 17th century. Statue of Belief (world’s tallest statue of Lord Shiva) or Vishwas Swaroopam is another prominent tourist attraction of the town. The place is adorned with lush green herbal garden all around the statue. Along with that there is food court, handicraft shop and mini train for sightseeing.

Pichwai paintings, terracotta work, handicrafts and attars are few famous things you can shop from Nathdwara.
