Top 20 Places to Visit Near Udaipur (Around 100 KM)

Overview: Udaipur has many tourist places around the city but I struggled to find genuinely Udaipur nearby attractions online. So I’m sharing a list of the top travel destinations near Lake City. These tourist places are located around 100 km distance (1.5 to 2 hours journey).


Udaipur is one of my favourite places to visit in Rajasthan. The charming city has everything to win anybody’s heart. I visited Udaipur last year and had a great time. 

This time, I thought of visiting nearby places in Udaipur. So, I googled Udaipur tourist places near me (Udaipur ke aas pass ghumne ki jagah).

I found travel articles mentioning places 300-400 km from Udaipur and wondered how they could be considered near, since 300 km isn’t close.

If I faced that issue, I am sure others are facing it too.

So, I am sharing a list of the ‘top places to visit near Udaipur’ (These places are genuinely near Udaipur).

1. Eklingji Temple

Ekling Ji Temple is a great place to visit near Udaipur within 50 km distance. It is located between two hills known as Kailashpuri. 

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Eklingji). There is a four faced idol of Shiva each depicting four different forms of Shiva.

The craving on the walls and pillars of the temple are excellent examples of Hindu architecture.

2. Delwara

Ruled by the brave Jhala Rajput’s Delwara is a historically rich town near Udaipur. It is also known as the town of temples and Gods.

3. Shivalik Dam, Udaipur

Shivalik Dam is a perfect tourist places near Udaipur within 100 km distance. It is famous among Udaipurites for a scenic location, a pool and refreshing waterfall.

6. Nathdwara

Nathdwara is a charming town situated near Udaipur. It is prominently known for Shrinathji Temple which was built in the 17th century. 

Statue of Belief or Vishwas Swaroopam is another prominent tourist attraction in Nathdwara. It is the tallest statue of Shiva.

The place is adorned with lush green herbal garden all around the statue.

Along with that there is food court, handicraft shop and mini train for sightseeing.

10. Chittorgarh Fort

Home to the Rajput warriors, Chittorgarh Fort is the most famous historic place near Udaipur within 150 km range. It is also one of the largest forts of India.

11. Sahastrabahu Temple

Sahastrabahu Temple is situated in Nagda village near Udaipur. These twin temples are also Known as saas bahu temples by localities.

The temple is dedicated to Virbhadra (Lord Vishnu) and was built in the 10th century. The beautiful intricate carving on the walls and ceiling will leave you awestruck.

It is a great place if you are looking for less crowded and offbeat places near Udaipur.

Kumbhalgarh Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fort is well-known for its massive walls extending over 36 kilometers.

World Record: Kumbhalgarh Fort has the second-longest continuous wall after the Great Wall of China.

This fort was built in the 15th century by Maharana Kumbha. The fort is built on a hilltop 1,100 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding Aravali mountain range.

Kumbhalgarh Fort has numerous palaces, temples, and gardens. It shows the rich history and architectural brilliance of the Mewar region.

There are many walking trails in Luv Kush Vatika that offers peace and joy. You can also find a hanging bridge here in this Luv Kush Vatika. This bridge is already viral in Udaipur.

This place has a raw appeal. It is not fancy and that is the USP of this park. Forest department has designed this travel destination of Udaipur by using natural materials.
