Talkatora is a famous place in Jaipur. It’s known for its old history and exciting culture.

Talkatora is located in center of the Pink City in front of Pondrik park. Recently government started renovating it.

Soon boating will start in Talkatora pond and people can enjoy riding on pedal boar, motor boat and double decker boat.

2. Pratap Celebrity Wax Museum

Pratap Celebrity Wax Museum in Jaipur is a good place to see lifelike wax statues of celebrities like APJ Abdul Kalam, Harry Potter, Meera Bai, Lionel Messi, Jackie Chain, Narendra Modi, Mr. Bean and many more.

3. Kishan Bagh – Sand Dune Park

Before JDA redeveloped it in 2016, few people knew about Kishan bagh. It is located at the foothills of the Nahargarh Fort hill.

Kishan Bagh is a treat to the eyes for nature lovers. You can see many Rajasthani hardy plants, trees, birds etc.

4. Kunda Craft Village

The new heritage tourist place “Shilpgram – The Craft Village is located in Kunda are of Jaipur. It is a charming village that showcases the time-honoured craft of utensil making using traditional Sanskrit stream techniques.

It’s a window into the vibrant culture of modern Rajasthan. Visit Shilpgram and be captivated by its unique charm.

There are many shops in Shilpgram Craft Village that sells beautiful hand-made pottery & artifacts. You can buy these and support the craftmanship.

5. Anokhi Museum

Anokhi Museum is one of the best places in Jaipur to discover the art of hand-block printing.

Here, you’ll discover the rich history of the craft, explore the fascinating tools and natural dyes used, and even witness live demonstrations by skilled artisans.

The entry fee is ₹80 rupees per person. There is a Cafe outside the museum where you can get refreshment.

6. Isarlat Sargasuli

Isarlat Sargasuli is a historic architectural marvel renowned for its intricate design and cultural significance.

Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh II built this beautiful 140-foot-tall building. The building has 7 floors, the top floor offers panoramic views of the cityscape.

You can witness the modern grid planning of the Pink City. The way to go up is not very wide and the top floor can accommodate 5-7 people.

Note: The tower is not very wide, be careful while going up and down. Don’t be in hurry. It can cause harm to you and others.

7. Nahargarh Fort – At Night

Nahargarh Fort is not a hidden tourist place in Jaipur. Thousands of visitors go to Nahargarh Fort to see the Pink City from the top of the hill.

But going to ‘Nahargarh Fort at night‘ is a less-explored activity. Night tourism at Nahargarh was introduced in the year 2020. In 2024, the number of ‘tourists visiting Nahargarh at night‘ has doubled.

At night, the Pink City looks gorgeous from Nahargarh Fort. You should include Nahargarh Fort in your 3-day Jaipur itinerary.

Nahargarh Fort was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1774. There are 10 suites in Nahargarh Fort, including separate suites for King and Queen.

Note: Prices for many activities are on the higher side because many foreigners visit this place. Keep that in mind.

Note: There is another place (Haathi Gaanv) on the outskirts of Jaipur that provides a similar elephant safari experience. But they are charging way too much for elephant activities. Many tourists placed so many negative reviews about their services on different platforms. So, I am not including the place in this list.

9. Sanganer Bazaar

Sanganer market is a great place to visit if you want to shop for the world-famous Sanaganeri block print clothing.

Be it bedsheets, salwar-kurta, shirts, turban, wedding clothing and dupatta. You can find almost everything in the Sanganer market at a cost-effective price.

One condition, your bargaining skills need to be strong before coming here. 😉

Sanganer Bazar is a crowded place, so keep that in mind.

10. Khazana Mahal Museum – A Gem Lover’s Paradise!

In the second phase of City Park Jaipur, government has built a beautiful fountain square. This fountain square covers an area of 40,000 sq. meter.

A big water screen is installed at the fountain square. On this water screen, you will watch videos about Rajasthan’s culture and freedom fighters. Jawahar Circle Park in Jaipur also offers a similar water screen and musical fountain show.

The musical fountain at the middle will be a key attraction for the tourists. There is huge sitting area around the fountain where you can sit and enjoy the musical fountains show.

The cenotaphs and baradari enhances the beauty of this big fountain square.

12. Toran Dwar, Jawahar Circle

Toran Dwar is a 5-floor heritage gate made of white marble. Its located at the backside of Jawahar Circle at the Airport road intersection.

Rajasthan’s 1st and only lion safari you can enjoy in Jaipur. You can get the tickets at the Nahargarh Biological Park ticket counter. There are 3 lions in the Nahargarh forest and might grow in future.

Gandhi Vatika – A museum based on the life of Mahathma Gandhi is built within the premise of Central Park, Jaipur.

There are three floors in Gandhi Vatika. In this garden, freedom struggle, life aspects, teaching of Mahatma Gandhi is shown.
